The Septennial Pilgrimage

During this special, seven-yearly, religious event, the relics of Saint Servatius are displayed in public during two outdoor processions. A wonderful tradition that unites the church, the city of Maastricht and anyone who wants to join the celebrations.
 
The Septennial Pilgrimage is from 12 june till 22 june (2025)

  • June 12 ~ 20:00 (Opening of the Heiligdomsvaart - Mass)
  • June 14 ~ 16:30 (Display of relics)
  • June 15 ~ 10:00 (Pontifical High Mass)
  • June 15 ~ 14:00 (Procession through the city)
  • June 21 ~ 16:00 (Display of relics)
  • June 22 ~ 15:00 (Pontifical High Mass)
  • June 22 ~ 19:00 (Procession through the city)
  • June 22 ~ 22:30 (Closing ceremony)
